This site is but a token tribute to Mr Rob Roy Jerrard, naval officer for twelve years and later City of London Police Officer for twenty-five years. Rob Jerrard was born in Portsmouth on 16th July, 1941 and he died in hospital in Devon on Friday, 3rd August, 2018 whilst doctors were attempting to replace stents he had had years ago. In his last years he did suffer much pain from an ankle problem he had since childhood, and in more recent years his hip pain made it difficult for him to climb stairs and so he, with his wife, were forced to make a hurried move from their cottage in Budleigh Salterton, Devon, to a bungalow not too far away, still in Budleigh Salterton.

Rob, you were successful in your life. You always focused on the law, namely, criminal law; public law;animal law;countryside laws and human rights law. You rose from little to steadily achieve, by dint of hard work and diligence, an LLB University degree and an LLM University degree and simultaneously working as full-time police officer's job-managing to keep up with technical stuff like computing and computer law by attending evening classes!
You are truly a beacon for all boys and girls today: diligent preparation and steady application does indeed bring blessings and rewards. Honesty, integrity, diligence, application are keywords. Thank you for letting me know you and Rosemary (Rosie) for 20 years. Bless you for that.I shall be eternally grateful to you for spotting my love of learning. Bless you always-forever. R.I.P.
